| Gefechtsbericht A: | Die 29th griff zuerst 3 „E-Boats“ an, als diese zu ihrem Stützpunkt zurückkehrten, und hinterließ eines davon in Brand, [1]. -- Two groups of E-boats attempting to operate from Havre were intercepted early this morning by our Coastal Forces. The first group was engaged at close range 9 miles from Havre at 0005 by three M.T.Bs. of the 29th Flotilla vectored by DUFF who set one E-boat on fire and pursued the rest to within one mile of the harbour entrance [2]. |
