Shore) auf MFP mit Muni-Ladung erfolgreich [1]. -- MTBs 289 (Shore) and 298 (Barnsdale) are despatched to land agents on the Italian mainland in the Gulf of Gaeta; but en route, they encounter a convoy of Flak Lighters, Siebel Ferries & R-boats. MTB 298 fired two torpedoes at the convoy & hitting a large Flak Light, which was carrying ammunition that exploded.[4] |

Um 03.00 Uhr aus dem Dunkeln, von den durch Leuchtraketen geblendeten Besatzungen nicht rechtzeitig erkannt, schießen Feind-Boote Torpedos auf die erste MFP-Gruppe ab.
