| Gefechtsbericht A: | Coastal forces entered Sumartin Harbour, Brac Island, last night. M.T.B. 226 torpedoed a small ship alongside. During the same night M.T.Bs. 651 and 226 engaged a Siebel ferry in the island area, the M.T.Bs. sustained some damage but no casualties.[6]. - MTB 226 (Lt. Hyslop mit SO an Bord) versenkte 1 Kümo vor der Einfahrt von Sumartin mit 2 Torpedos. -- Nach längerer Suche Angriff 651 (Lt. Horlock) auf Siebelfähre, Torpedo unterlief das Ziel. Beide MTB beschädigten die Fähre anschließend mit Artillerie.[2] -- MTB 226 (Lt. Hyslop with SO on board) and MTB 651 (Lt. Horlock) depart Komiza to intercept German forces invading Brac. Off Brac, MTBs sight a merchant ship which MTB 226 pursues into Sumartin Harbour. MTB 226 waits for the ship to berth before sinking her by torpedo thus putting the pier out of action as well. -- Continueing their search, MTB 226 and MTB 651 sight a Siebel ferry. MTB 651 attacks with torpedoes and misses. Both MTBs attack with gunfire causing damage but not sinking it [5] |
