Angriff auf „Schwabenland“-Geleit mit den genannten MTBs. - "This force had no more success, however, than its predecessor off Cap Gris Nez, and all torpedo boats were damaged and driven off, before they could fire their torpedoes. MTB 38 (Lt. Easton) made three determined attemps. At an early stage one engine, gun turret and steering were all put out of action, bot in spite of that he closed in to attack. He was, however, intercepted by 5 R-Boats and so blinded by the tracer that he was forced to disengange without firing torpedoes. [4] |
