| Gefechtsbericht A: | 24th Sep.: Coastal forces last night sank three I-Boats in Rogac Cove, Sulet Island.[6] - Deutsche Evakuierung Soltas. MTBs kommen vor Rogac mit 3 Infanterietransportern ins Gefecht und versenken sie mit Waffen und 200 Soldaten an Bord.[2] - MTB 633 and MTB 655 are directed to Sulet Island where 43 RM Commando are in action and reporting a likely German evacuation during the night. Off Rogac Cove, MTBs 633 and 655 sight three I Boats and engage with gunfire setting all three boats on fire and silencing them. MTBs 633 and 655 make a second attack and an I Boat blows up. All three I Boats are sunk in the action. The 200 man garrison of Solta were being evacuated in the three I Boats and there are heavy casualties [5]. |
