| Gefechtsbericht A: | Die Torpedos der 1st Gruppe verfehlten ihre Ziele. Im 2. Anlauf torpedierte 350 erfolgreich ein Geleitboot. Ein dritter Angriff auf das Geleit wurde von einem anderen Verband durchgeführt [1]. - M.T.Bs. from the Nore Command, operating off the Dutch coast between Ymuiden and the Hook in the early hours of today attacked a southbound convoy. It is believed that a 1,000 ton ship was sunk. Another force of M.T.Bs. was engaged by the rear escorts of the same convoy which was entering the Hook at the time; no damage or casualties were caused.[5,438] -> 22nd M.T.B. Flottilla operating between the Texel and Ijmuiden proceeded south at 0120 on receipt of 11th Flotilla's enemy report. (...) Flotilla arrived off the Hook not before 0423 and was engaged by rear escorts of convoy which was entering the Hook at that time. No damage or casualties [5,447] |
