| Gefechtsbericht A: | Convoy F.N.564 was reported to have been attacked by E-boats early this morning between Cromer and the Outer Dowsing. (...) To cover the retirement of the E-boats the most northerly of the 3 units of MGB's, patrolling near Brown Ridge, was ordered to move to the northward. MGB's 86 and 89 engaged one or two E-boats, which were hit many times but escaped; MGB 89 was hit some 30 to 40 times and was damaged and had some casualties [1]. -- MGB 86 and MGB 89 engaged the German ships, and MGB 89 was damaged during the ensuing combat [2]. |

Nach Minenlegen Angriff auf Geleitzug, auf dem Rückmarsch Gefecht mit brit. MGBs [4] - Auf dem Rückmarsch führen S 51 und S 52 ein Gefecht mit 2 MTBs. Dabei erhält S 51 Treffer in den Steuerstand.
