Boat übertragen zu Kiel zur Reparatur, 7 Tage auf See, danach nur noch Einsatz als Schulboot. (Commander. One transit sailing, 5 days. Aborted after 7 days the first patrol and was forced to return to Trondheim because the boat on 26.03.1943 was depth charged by a British Catalina flying boat from No.190 Squadron RAF, Royal Air Force Coastal Command from the Faraoe Islands, the boat was seriously damaged and unfit for combat duties. Boat transfered to Kiel for repair, 7 days at sea. Thereafter only used as a training boat. No sunk or damaged a ship.)
