Footnote : U110 sank a lonely sailing vesssel. The name was given as "André Moyrand" by the 1st WO of U110 (Roskill, p.96) The attacking position of U110 is completely uncertain. - In April 1941 the Vichy-French "André Moyrand" (27, 2471grt) was laying in Dakar. She was not sunk but survived the war. Lloyd's War Losses only reports the sinking of "Henri Mory" on Apr.27th, 1941. (Cf. the phonetic similarity of both names).
