| Footnote : | A Soviet convoy was attacked on Oct.19th, 1944 at 11:00h (Moskow) by an U-boat 8nm northwest of Cape Pakri. 3 torpedoes were sighted, but there was no vessel hit. The convoy consisted of 2 tugs and 2 barges, escorted by 3 coastal minesweepers and 2 guard cutters. The guard cutters attacked the U-boat with deph charges but without success. According to Soviet sources KM-321 was lost on a mine at Narwa Bay. It was unlikely being sunk by U-1165. |
